NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE TUCKAHOE UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT

To be eligible to vote, a person must be:

• At least 18 years of age by May 21, 2022
• A U.S. citizen
• A resident of the school district for thirty (30) days or longer immediately preceding the vote and not otherwise prohibited from voting.

Qualified voters who are registered with the Westchester County Board of Elections are eligible to vote in school district elections.

If you are not registered to vote, you can:

• Register with the Westchester County Board of Elections by mail at 25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, NY 10601.
• Register remotely through the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles website at: https://dmv.ny.gov/more-info/electronic-voter-registration-application;
• Register with the District Clerk on any school business day prior to May 11, 2022 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the District Clerk’s Office. Evening registration will take place on May 10, 2022 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. by appointment only.

1. To adopt the annual budget of the School district for the 2022-2023 school year and to authorize the requisite portion thereof to be raised by taxation on the taxable property of the District.
2. To elect two (2) members of the Board of Education as follows:

Two (2) three (3) year terms commencing July 1, 2022 and expiring on June 30, 2025, to succeed members Laura Benke and Therese Gardere whose terms expire on June 30, 2022.
