NEW YORK STATE 2005/06 ELA TESTING RESULTS

 

GRADES 3 – 8

 

The New York State Assessment System is designed to assess Student Achievement in ELA in Grades 3 – 8.  Tuckahoe posted strong results in the data released by The State on Friday, September 22, 2006.  Theses results are among the best in many grade levels in comparison to both State and Westchester/Putnam Counties.  The test scores are reported by four different levels.  The State target is to have all students in levels 3 and 4 (at or above the state’s standards).
