Board of Education

The Tuckahoe Board of Education is made up of five district residents, each elected to serve a three-year term without pay. Their primary responsibilities are to establish policies for the educational program and the management of the school district. The Superintendent and the administration are responsible for the execution of these policies.

Monthly Board Meetings are generally held on the third Monday evening of the month, with the public session beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Tuckahoe High School/Middle School Library. The dates and times of the meetings can be found on this web site and on Cable TV Channel 77 (Cablevision) Channel 27 (Verizon) where they are broadcast live.
