Strategic Plan “2030” Vision

Our 2026 - 2030 Strategic Plan was unveiled at our June 15, 2026 Board of Education meeting. This comprehensive plan was developed over the course of the 2025-26 school year and represents the input of our entire community. 

Our Strategic Planning Steering Committee brought together a diverse group of passionate stakeholders: including parents, students, teachers, community partners, Board of Education members, and administrators. Backed by the Board’s commitment to an inclusive and comprehensive process, the team set out to capture the true voice, values, and aspirations of Tuckahoe.

How Your Voice Guided the Way

To build a shared vision for learning, we implemented a deliberate, data-driven engagement process:

• Broad-Based Surveys: Families, staff, and students shared crucial feedback regarding district strengths, current priorities, and areas for growth.
• World Café Town Halls: We hosted dynamic, interactive in-person sessions for both the community and school staff. These collaborative forums allowed participants to dive deep into survey trends, reflect together, and engage in meaningful problem-solving.

From Data to Action

Following this extensive community outreach, the Steering Committee rolled up their sleeves—meeting multiple times a month to meticulously review every piece of feedback, survey data, and academic performance metric.

By analyzing these collective insights, the team identified the key themes and priorities that matter most to our community. These shared values have directly shaped our newly drafted mission and vision statements, serving as the rock-solid foundation for a unifying, innovative, and equitable path forward. They further informed our pillars: Academic Excellence and Opportunity, Student Well-Being and Support, Operational Excellence and Learning Beyond the Classroom.
