Tuckahoe High School College Fair 2019

The Tuckahoe High School annual college fair kicked off another college application season on September 26, 2019. Coordinated by the Tuckahoe High School Guidance Department, the event provided juniors and seniors with the opportunity to interact with representatives from over 60 institutions of higher education.  The presence of a variety of schools, such as Cornell University, CUNY John Jay Criminal Justice, New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, and Rochester Institute of Technology, provided exposure to the college admissions process for students with a wide range of interests.

Set up throughout the THS gymnasium and cafeteria, students explored the college fair's higher education offerings, asked questions, and collected information. "For juniors and seniors it is another opportunity for them gather information and reflect on their near future. Freshman and sophomores get an early exposure to the academic and career choices they will be facing in coming years," stated Dr. Bart Linehan, Tuckahoe High School Principal.
